Fliss is secretly thrilled and relieved when she's kidnapped en route to her arranged wedding—until she discovers that her kidnapper is the man her father has been embezzling money from, Ricardo Valeron. Yet she develops a red-hot attraction to Rico, and when he invites her to come back to Argentina with him to hide from the press, she agrees. Only she can't correct his assumptions about her without telling him the truth about her marriage of convenience and her father. THE HOSTAGE BRIDE by Kate Walker (2) is entertaining but relies too much on coincidence and deception to be truly enjoyable.
