In this great take on the myth of the Queen of the Underworld, Hades is a take-charge male who’s not afraid of showing a softer side. The pace is fast, the dialogue is snappy and the story is refreshing. Though the novella format necessitates brevity, the characters and plot are fully developed.

Hades, Lord of the Underworld, is seated in his throne room when a luscious female falls into his lap. Initially suspecting a plot, Hades uses his considerable seduction techniques to interrogate the intruder. However, Persephone is innocent of wrongdoing. Zeus sent her to the Underworld as protection from some randy gods. As Hades shows her how to use her powers and a passion she never imagined, Persephone now dreads the coming separation. Will fate find a way to keep these lovers united when the human world relies heavily on her power? (SAMHAINPUBLISHING.COM, dl $3.50)
