Book Review

Genre: Erotic Romance

RT Rating

A pirate tale needs three things - a ship on the high seas, a swashbuckling scoundrel or two and a female captive to be ravished. This one fits the bill. MacNeal provides colorful characters in a fun-filled romp with lots of sizzling sexual escapades. It's a fantastical story with just enough reality to make readers believe that dreams can come true.

Misfortune is Cat Gamble's middle name. Her husband committed suicide, his creditors are coming after her for his extensive gambling debts and her writing career is going down the tubes. When she wins the lottery she jumps at the chance to live out
her dreams.

Cat buys an island and books a fantasy vacation with Captain Jack, a pretend pirate with a fleet of cruise ships. But things go awry when she's kidnapped by the Wong brothers - real pirates who intend to make her their sex slave. (APHRODISIA, Oct., 320 pp., $13.95)
