Bobby is a great modern alpha hero—macho, but skating just shy of overbearing. Johnson excels at sexy love scenes, and this is a fun, fast read that makes no apologies for being just that.

Being a small-town Minnesota girl, Cassie Hill is floored when movie-star-handsome Bobby Serre takes an interest in her. He's in town to investigate the disappearance of a famous painting from the Minneapolis Museum of Art, where Cassie works as a curator.

When Bobby's malicious ex-wife hears rumors about them, she swoops into town and convinces Cassie's obnoxious boss to split them up by sending Cassie on a fake business trip to Houston. Their respective jealousies get the better of them, and some angry phone calls lead Bobby to beat a hasty retreat before Cassie gets back to town. It's no big deal though, because it's only sex, right?
