Having left her flamboyant and eccentric Chicagobased family behind, chef Jenna Fahey has worked hard to establish a top-notch restaurant in Ireland's historic Muir House. While she's made numerous attempts to purchase the place from its absentee owner, she's been unsuccessful. Her plight becomes more urgent when London real estate developer Dev Gilvane arrives in Ballymuir.

Although Irish by birth, Dev has spent most his life in England. When his bosses request he find a spot in Ireland for their newest resort, Dev decides to check out his mother's hometown.

Deciding that Muir House is perfect, he places himself on a collision course with Jenna, who tries driving Dev away from the property. All too soon Jenna realizes that her heart and the property are both at stake.
