The Strong brothers are back and Kaleb is looking for love. The main relationship is between an older woman and a younger man, which makes the reading interesting. There’s chemistry galore and, in a fun twist, he wants the happily ever after and she wants no strings attached.

When Zaria Ali’s husband leaves her for a woman half her age, Zaria decides to enjoy the rest of her life instead of drowning in self-pity. She parties like one of her college-age daughters and, if she finds the right partner, she enjoys herself, vowing that she will not let a man be her whole life again. This all changes when Kaleb Strong enters the picture. He wants to take their relationship further but Zaria convinces herself that she is better off alone. Will Kaleb’s sincerity and strength push through her defenses? (DAFINA, Aug., 268 pp., $6.99)
