HOT TO THE TOUCH (4) by Isabel Sharpe: Chef Darcy Clark owns her own restaurant, and has no time for love. Enter Troy, a computer manual author, who picks up Darcy at a bar for a single night of passion. That’s it … until they meet through an online dating service and realize they have mutual friends. Is it coincidence or fate? In the hands of a lesser writer, Hot to the Touch could have been a lukewarm series of coincidences. Instead, Sharpe has a keen ear for dialogue and knows how to build emotional tension between the likable hero and heroine.
