The futuristic fun continues as Grant unleashes the third book in her sexy and adventurous romps. Turning the villain from book one into a redemptive hero is a terrific way to up the humor and pathos. Grant hits another home run!

Kidnapped as a child, Eriff was desensitized, programmed and mechanically enhanced to become a REEF, or the perfect assassin. Luckily for Cavin Far Star, Reef failed in his mission to kill Cavin and nearly died. Deciding to display compassion, Cavin saves Reef and hides him in suburbia at the house of Evie Jasper Holloway, Cavin's fiance's sister.

At first Evie is furious that Reef is dumped on her doorstep, but once he saves her life, she reconsiders and starts to realize that there's a man buried beneath the layers of programming. Releasing that man becomes a sexy personal challenge. But the fate of Earth still hangs in the balance, and Reef's creators are not about to let their "perfect" creation go.
