HOW TO MARRY A WARLOCK IN 10 DAYS
Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
The second installment continues DeWylde’s “10 days” theme, and some characters from the first book make cameo appearances. Although the hero and heroine in this tale are more likable than those in the previous book, the confusion over who is who continues — making this story tough to follow.
Middy, a witch, is in charge of a fundraising event and must approach Dred, her high-school nemesis, to ask for a donation. Dred, a wealthy warlock who is a regular centerfold in Weekly Warlock magazine, secretly lusts after Middy. He is also a spy seeking to flush out some nasty operators. Dred enlists Middy’s help, requiring her to pretend to be his fiancée. (BRAVA, Oct., 320 pp., $14.00)
