HOW THE ROGUE STOLE CHRISTMAS
by Rosemary Stevens

Genre: Regency Period, England

RT Rating

Fawcett presents another charming Regency romance from an up-and-coming author.

The Christmas Season is not Lady Margerys favorite time of year. In fact, everything bad seems to happen at Christmas. This year is no exception when the roof of her country cottage falls in, forcing her to accept an invitation to Lady Althams house party. And on the way, her ill-luck continues when she is propositioned by an arrogant lord after a snowstorm strands her at a disreputable inn.

So it is really no surprise to discover that the rogue is a fellow guest, Lord "Reckless" Reckford. Is there more to the man than their first encounter implies?

Writing with considerably more ease, Ms. Stevens blends sparking interplay and a nice plot into fine entertainment. (Nov., 200pp.,$4.99)
