RT Rating

The latest in Palmer’s intriguing series deals with two races, the Feral Warriors and the Ilinas, coming together. In order to save one, the other may have to be sacrificed. Palmer skillfuly shows readers how it isn’t always easy to love your soul mate.

Two of the Feral Warriors, Hawke and Tighe, are stuck in a spirit trap. The only means Kougar can think of to free them before it’s too late is to enlist the help of his former mate, Ariana. Unfortunately, Ariana is hiding a secret and may not be willing — or able — to help. As for Wulfe, he’s falling for a human woman who can see past his scars to the person within. But he knows she will soon lose her memories, and be lost to him for good. (AVON, Feb., 384 pp., $7.99)
