by Shiloh Walker

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy

2009 Paranormal Fiction Nominee

RT Rating

This is a great story that works as a stand-alone but will also have you hungering for the rest of the Hunter series. Walker creates undercurrents of sexual tension that leave readers panting for release. The vampires, witches and werewolves are so real they seem to live and breathe. The plot never drags, and the pages fly. Fans and new readers will find the world of the Hunters a sexy and entertaining read.

Analise Morell, a psychic,
is training at Excelsior. To mortals it appears to be a private school, but
it's really the home of the Hunters. She and Duke, a shapeshifter, avoid each other like the plague. Though Ana once betrayed him and put him in the clutches of a feral vampire, she is very attracted
to him.

Duke may not trust her, but he wants her. Now Ana needs help and Duke is torn. Can he put aside his doubts and work with her to take down a killer? (BERKLEY SENSATION, Dec., 304 pp., $7.99)

The book was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bad guy surprised me. This was a great addition to the Hunter series.
