This sequel to Hunting the Hunter is an exciting, suspenseful romance with a variety of paranormal creatures, including some familiar faces. This time around the hero has the magical powers of a witch, and the heroine is a psychic mortal. Add in a deranged, powerful villain, and you have a tale that entertains from beginning to end.

Now a rancher, powerful witch Vax is out of the game, no
longer "defender of the innocent
and helpless" -- until psychic Jess,
an investigative reporter on the trail
of the person who murdered her
sister, is in danger. When Vax interferes with Jess' quest for revenge,
saving her life in the process, she
realizes he's a Hunter, a paranormal cop.

They follow the trail to her sister's killer. What they uncover is a villain with the desire to create a creature with a power combination that has not been seen before, one that could be a threat to the whole paranormal community -- and destroy Vax in the process.
