To the outside world, architect Jillian Kane lives a wonderful life with her police officer husband, Gordon, and two kids, Addie and Drew. Yet, inside her home, her life shows something different. Gordon abuses her both verbally and physically, and she lives in constant fear that he will hurt Addie and Drew. In the midst of a child- custody battle, this danger to her children becomes real and causes Jillian to act, going to extreme lengths against her husband to keep her children safe.
