This is a surprisingly touching story about a young vampiress discovering
all is not as it seems. Love scores again, picking up the story of the Young brothers with Sebastian, who will endear himself with his charismatic yet tender ways and sizzle the pages with his passionate style -- which isn't always confined to the bedroom. Cheesy, over-the-top vampire cliches and human oddities add to the humor and outrageousness that is Love's world -- where vampires, werewolves and shape-shifters mingle and dance with mortals.

Young vampiress Wilhelmina has been charged with the task of stopping the city's third most dangerous vampire, Sebastian, from biting any more humans. The closer she gets to her goal, the closer she gets to Sebastian. Soon she realizes the only threat he poses is to her heart. (Brava, Dec., 320 pp., $14.00)
