RT Rating

Supercharged with sexual tension, mind melding and suspense, this sequel to Any Way You Want It is an exciting page-turner. Intricate details of the otherworld are intriguing, and intimate details of the relationships are arousing. Love delivers, with her usual fast pace and witty style, all the comedy readers have come to expect.

Erika Todd moves to Louisiana to be near her newly married friend and to establish herself as a sculptor. She doesn't expect to become the downstairs neighbor to Vittorio, the hottest man in town. But something is different about him, and she can't quite put her finger on it -- until she's kidnapped by his stalker and introduced to a whole new world. (Brava, Sep., 320 pp., $14.00)

Mamma's boy?

I really enjoyed Any Way You Want It and I thought this book would be along the same lines. Not so much.

Vittorio's relationship with his mother made me a little uncomfortable. Okay, very uncomfortable. I expected it to be a little funnier and a lot less creepy.

I liked Erika and Vittorio as a couple and the romance between them was fun to read.
