IF HE’S WILD
Genre: Historical Romance, Paranormal, England 2010 Historical Fantasy/Paranormal Nominee Another Howell winner, the last book in the Wherlocke trilogy is a fast-paced adventure filled with intrigue and danger. The characters are well developed and wonderfully fallible. We can only hope that Howell will return to this series later with more wondrous stories.
Lady Alethea Vaughn Channing is a member of the vast Wherlocke clan, and as with most of the family, she has a gift; hers is visions. She has been having visions of a man since she was young, and now he is in extreme danger. She must find him and help him. She travels to London to enlist the aid of her Uncle Iago. The man in danger is Hartley Greville, the rakish Marquis of Redgrave. But there is more to Hartley than meets the eye. When he overhears Iago and Alethea talking, he brings them into his confidence and they him. While it’s hard to believe that Alethea saw everything in a vision, when she shows him her vision drawings, he begins to believe. Hartley is looking for a spy. Unable to deny their feelings, Alethea and Hartley marry, which increases the danger. When Hartley disappears, Alethea knows that he is in extreme danger. With the help of her family she moves to save Hartley before he is killed. (ZEBRA, Jun., 352 pp., $6.99) Reviewed By: Jill Brager Publisher: ZEBRA Published: June 2010 |

If He's Wild - Another Great Book From Hannah Howell

I love all the books that Ms. Howell writes, but there's something about the Wherlocks and Vaughns that I like best of all. Maybe it's because I love reading the paranormal and this series blends the best of Regency and Paranormal. I'm glad that there are more Wherlocks and Vaughns to come. I can't put these books down.
