INFINITY
by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Genre: Young Adult, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Uber-talented Kenyon is sure to delight her legion of fans with a terrific new prequel series, Chronicles of Nick, which explores the adventures of a teenage Nick Gautier. That part of Nick’s future destiny is already known adds poignancy to this exciting tale as past, present and potential futures collide. The imagination of Kenyon is a wonder to behold and an amazing place to visit!

At 14, Nick is a bit nerdy and definitely sarcastic. Not getting pounded on by members of the football team is his biggest worry, until some high school mates try to kill him. Nick is saved by Kyrian Hunter, who offers him a job running errands after school. Things get really weird when members of the football team turn into living zombies. Suddenly Nick is thrust into a world filled with dangerous creatures of myth and legend. What is most frightening is Nick’s ignorance of his own latent powers, and the tragic path that lies before him unless events can be changed. (ST. MARTIN’S GRIFFIN, Jun., 480 pp., $17.99)
