Book Review

THE INN CROWD
by Denise Belinda McDonald

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
Sensuality: SCORCHER

RT Rating

The Wild Rose bed and breakfast is the perfect setting for a hot romance, with interference from some zany characters, clever dialogue and a consistently good plot. A tiny dog dressed in leather and a fat cat add humor to the mix.

Jamie is an international movie star but needs a vacation - bad, so he checks into the BandB under his real name and instantly sizzles with the owner, Lorenna. Things get complicated quickly as Lorenna's mother is launching into
her fifth marriage, all men within the county line make Jamie jealous and by the end of the week his entourage from California has migrated to Texas. So much for anonymity.

Despite her initial resistance, Jamie and Lorenna become intimate until she discovers his deception. Her father, also an actor, deserted her, and she feels betrayed once again. With the wedding drawing near, everyone tries to reunite them. Then natural disaster strikes. (Samhain, Sep., 308 pp., $15.00)
