Image of Insatiable (Federation Chronicles, Book 3)

While Insatiable works as a stand-alone story, familiarity with Dane’s other Federation books will add to readers’ enjoyment. Also, Dane has created a fully realized, intricate world with thoughtful, sympathetic characters, which makes it easy to lose oneself in the romance, and trust that needed details will fall into place. The cliffhanger ending will leave readers panting for the next installment.

Carina Fardelle’s father, heartless and greedy commander of the Imperial ‘Verses, has just arranged for her to marry one of his henchmen. She escapes, but not before grabbing information that may hold the key to imperial defeat. Daniel Haws is a member of the Federation’s Phantom Corps whose mission it is to convey Carina to safety. Though they were born on opposing sides of the oncoming war between the two factions, Daniel and Carina can’t stop their overpowering desire for each other. (HEAT, Jul., 340 pp., $15.00)
