RaeAnne Thayne's The Interpreter (4), starts off fast and exciting with the kidnapping of Jane Withington, an interpreter at the International Trade Summit in Park City, Utah, after she overhears
a terrorist plot. Jane manages to escape, but the injuries she's suffered leave
her with amnesia. Rancher and ex-spy Mason Keller finds Jane and has no choice but to take her home. When Jane's memory returns, so does the
danger, and Mason has to choose between his distrust and the feelings
he has for her. Laced with the characters' emotional baggage and entwined with
love and danger, this is a fast-paced, enjoyable read.
