Book Review

by Terri Blackstock

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Blackstock's latest is an intriguing look into the heart of a parent with a child addicted to drugs. Although realistic, Barbara's enabling behavior comes across as more annoying than compassionate. Overall, the mystery is paced well and has a satisfying conclusion.

Barbara Covington is at the
end of her rope when she hires an interventionist to take her drug-addicted daughter Emily across the country for treatment. When the woman turns up dead, suspicion falls on Emily, who
has disappeared. Barbara is sure
Emily would never do such a horrible thing and must be in danger as well. Can she convince the police to search for another culprit. (ZONDERVAN, Oct., 336
