IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (3) by Kathie DeNosky: Continuing the Missing Mogul miniseries, It Happened One Night begins with a double mistaken identity under the cover of dark. Fast forward to three years later, and Kiley Roberts is trying to get funding for the Texas Cattleman’s Club daycare center. To get it, she’ll need Josh Gordon’s help — the same Josh Gordon with whom she shared one night of passion. Josh hasn’t forgotten that night either, and when he meets Kiley again he’s ready to relive it. But what about her daughter, a child who just so happens to have been conceived around that time? If readers can get past the believability of the opening scenario, the storyline and characters begin to feel more real. The story takes a heartwarming turn in the second half, and the ending is too cute for words.
