In Italy to learn about the father who died before she was born, Gina Redman is the victim of a hit-and-run. When Gina tracks down the driver, she ends up dealing with the driver's brother—Count Lucius Carandente, who coincidentally shares the same surname as her father. Gina and Luc share a powerful chemistry, which they act on. When he discovers her true identity, he feels a duty to marry Gina, for she is the true heir to the estate. While THE ITALIAN MATCH (2) by Kay Thorpe elicits chemistry and some entertaining scenes, too many coincidences mar the story.
