ITALIAN PRINCE, WEDLOCKED WIFE (2) by Jennie Lucas To complete his plan of revenge, Prince Maximo d'Aquilla must convince destitute mother Lucy Abbott to marry him by New Year's Eve. He offers Lucy, who was abandoned by her lover when she was about to give birth to her daughter, millions for three months of marriage. Knowing this is a fairy tale that can't possibly be true, Lucy rushes into the marriage and signs a contract she doesn't have a chance to read. When the bubble bursts and she wakes up, will she still feel like a princess? This is a replay of the Cinderella fairy tale, but it falls far short. The supposed prince remains a frog for most of the story.
