When Paolo Rainero and Caroline (Callie) Leighton were involved nine years ago, it ended badly. Now they are brought together by tragedy to co-parent their niece and nephew. Before long, this marriage of convenience begins to feel very real -- especially in the bedroom. But before they can move toward a real future together with their family, there are wounds to be healed and secrets to be shared. The Italian's Convenient Wife (4), by Catherine Spencer, is a believable and tender love story. Spencer does an excellent job of letting the chemistry between Paolo and Callie reflect the depth of their feelings and the powerful connection between them that has not diminished with time.
