Years after breaking her arranged engagement to wealthy aristocrat Gustavo Ferrara, archaeologist Joanna Manton still wonders what might have been. So when she's offered the chance to excavate a find on Gustavo's property, she takes it. Both divorced with young children, they have more in common now, but old feelings and new problems require resolution before Joanna can become The Italian's Rightful Bride (3). As always, Lucy Gordon delivers a solid read, and most of her characters are nicely developed. Gustavo's ex-wife is the exception, and it's a big hindrance because so much of the story is affected by her actions.
