Luca O'Hagan is attracted to his brother Roman's assistant, Alice Trevelyan, but he assumes the two are secretly involved. Alice is attracted to Luca, but doesn't let on because she thinks his ego is already big enough. But one evening they find themselves alone, and dinner leads to more. Alice gets her hopes up, but when Luca mistakenly thinks she's pregnant and offers her a marriage of convenience she knows where she stands. Then she finds out she really is pregnant.
