Gianna Lakewood has been in love with Enrico DiRinaldo for what seems like forever. When he's injured and left temporarily paralyzed and without a fiancée, he proposes to Gianna, and she quickly accepts. But Gianna is torn. While she loves Enrico and wants his child, she's frustrated by his unwillingness to touch her, which makes her feel like less of a woman. She doesn't realize that Enrico is wrestling with his own demons about his masculinity now that he's in a wheelchair—and with the realization that he truly has feelings for Gianna. The Italian's Suitable Wife (3) by Lucy Monroe is a heartwarming book with two wonderful characters who have to battle personal demons and some tangible obstacles to find their happily ever after.
