Needing to produce a wife to secure an inheritance, Rafaello di Viscenti offers his cleaning lady money in exchange for a six-month marriage. Single mother Magda can't refuse such an offer, but when she has to accompany Rafaello to Italy, and he begins to show interest in her, she starts dreaming of a happily ever after. The Italian's Token Wife (2) by Julia James is a modern-day Cinderella tale, complete with prince charming, castle and happy ending. But the hero's arrogance and the heroine's self-esteem issues mar the enjoyment of this tale.
