Each new chapter in the Resonance Mates series is better than the last. Fans will enjoy revisiting characters from previous books, but at the heart of this adventure is Jaci 192, an alien female who discovers love. All the necessary background is provided, so new readers will have no problem following the plot. This is a passionate, romantic journey, as well as a sci-fi adventure, so expect lots of graphic sex scenes, including menage a trois.

Jaci 192, an Alvian, one of the emotionless aliens that conquered Earth, prepares gene-altering patches for experimentation on members of her own species. When she's accidentally exposed, she must hide her new emotions or risk punishment. Two human prisoners, Mike and Dave, come to her aid and develop feelings for the beautiful alien. Jaci is shocked to discover they're her Resonance Mates. (SAMHAIN, Jun., 296 pp., $15.00)
