In the third book in her Big Sky Dreams series, Wick incorporates a character from a previous series, the Yellow Rose Trilogy, without a hitch. The romance is sweet, and the characters jump off the page. Their struggles with faith and forgiveness are prominent.
Jessie Wheeler has been heartbroken for eight years since her husband, Seth, left her. She has been raising their two children and running her family's business alone. Then Seth returns to Token Creek, in Montana territory, a changed man. He needs to make Jessie believe he's back forever and also to get her to believe God has brought him back to her for good reasons. Jessie and Seth will have to have faith in themselves and God to forgive and become a family again. (Harvest House, Sep., 350 pp., $13.99)
