Book Review

JUDGMENT DAY
by Wanda L. Dyson

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Dyson pens a tightly plotted novel readers will devour. Grab some snacks and prepare to be glued to your seat for nonstop action and nail-biting suspense. Readers will want to read more about the formidable private investigation team of Crisp and Fisher-Hawthorne.

Suzanne Kidwell prides herself on getting the scoop before other news outlets even if her investigative practices are a little shoddy and she embellishes facts along the way. All she cares about are her ratings, until she crosses people determined to silence her. Frightened, she calls on PIs Alexandria Fisher-Hawthorne and Marcus Crisp for help. The problem is that Crisp is an old boyfriend she cheated on in college. Is he willing to save her or has Suzanne’s past caught up with her? (WATERBROOK, Sep., 352 pp., $13.99)
