JUGGLING BRIEFCASE AND BABY

JUGGLING BRIEFCASE AND BABY (2) by Jessica Hart: Lex Gibson’s latest business deal is extremely important to him. But when the acquisitions leader can’t attend the finalization of the buyout, Romy, the woman Lex has never stopped loving steps in — with her baby in tow. They use their memories of their one glorious week together, some 12 years ago, to seal the deal, quieting the seller’s reservations about selling to Lex. Do Lex and Romy have the courage it takes to make a marriage really work? Hart spends a great deal of time rehashing the past, which makes the pace slow and repetitious. If you can get past that, the story comes to a predictable conclusion.
