His name is David Case, but after an accident involving his baby brother, he changes his name to Justin and dresses and acts differently to hide from fate. What starts as a strange idea spirals into a deep depression, leaving even the reader to wonder if Justin has lost control.

Rosoff earned accolades with her first novel, How I Live Now, and her newest is compelling and original. She seems incapable of writing standard boy-meets-girl stories, and that's one of the reasons her books are so fantastic -- that and her stellar storytelling.
