JUST FOR THE NIGHT (3) by Tawny Weber: Bookseller Larissa Zahn dreams of opening her own “romance shop” stocked with everything for couples to enjoy together. Unfortunately, her ex-boyfriend Jason Cantrell has his eyes on the same empty storefront. As they both look over the retail space, a power outage traps them inside. They have everything they need to make it through the night: food, water and … condoms. The setup to get them into the same room for 24 hours is elaborate and strains credulity. A lot can — and does — happen in 24 hours, but their lives are never in danger, and the outcome is a foregone conclusion.
