Raye once again brings to life the world of the Dead End Dating service. With a number of reappearances and some fun new characters, she presents another enjoyable and fast-moving story. That there's still no happily ever after for the heroine and a few other loose ends leave the reader longing to know what happens next.

It all starts when Vinnie Balducci, a member of SOB (Snipers
of Otherworldly Beings) comes to
vampire Lilliana du Marchette's Dead End Dating service for help finding a match. Lil has 72 hours to find him the perfect woman or he'll end her afterlife. During her search, she encounters a demon escaped from hell. When this demon ends up possessing one of her friends, she tries to have it exorcised before her one true love, vampire Ty, or the demons who work for the local law enforcement find out. If they do, her friend will be sliced, diced and burned to ashes so the demon can
be returned to hell. (Ballantine, Aug., 336 pp., $6.99)
