JUST ONE KISS (4) by Isabel Sharpe: When Daniel Flynn is introduced in this story as off the market, nearly two years into his promised mourning for his late fiancée, there’s an instant apprehension that there will be a slow build to this romance. But the heroine, pastry chef Angela Loukas, wastes little time chipping away at his somber exterior and extracts his passion and flavor, much like she does with her signature cookies and pastries. Coy seduction may not work for every female looking to turn a “friends with benefits” situation into forever, but it certainly works here.
