JUST ONE LAST NIGHT
JUST ONE LAST NIGHT (3) by Helen Brooks: Landscaper Melanie Masterson can’t refuse a request from her soon-to-be ex-husband Forde to help his aging mother with her garden. But she’s determined it won’t lead to a reconciliation, even if she is still hopelessly in love with him. Orphaned at an early age, Melanie believes she’s a jinx to everyone. But Forde isn’t about to let Melanie toss aside their wedding vows. This emotional, heart-tugging tale is a worthwhile read, though the ending is drawn out and sometimes the heroine’s internal struggles, rather than the romance, take center stage.
