JUSTICE AT CARDWELL RANCH
JUSTICE AT CARDWELL RANCH (4.5) by B.J. Daniels: Former bad-boy cowboy Jordan Cardwell has returned to the canyon to investigate the supposed suicide of his best friend, which throws him into the path of Deputy Marshal Liza Turner. Liza isn’t sure why Jordan has come home, but she’s hoping, for the sake of the Cardwell family, that he’s not the murderer they’re looking for. With a cache of suspects, the mystery and danger thickens from the first page, weaving a spell around readers with overlapping storylines that all trace to a dramatic and terrifying climax. This latest Big Sky mystery is definitely worth the long wait.
