KEEPER OF THE NIGHT (4.5) by Heather Graham: When musician Rhiannon Gryffald is forced to move to Los Angeles to become keeper of the vampires, she meets Elven police officer Brodie Mac, who is working undercover as an actor to solve the same string of vampire-committed murders that she is also investigating. When the two discover the victims are definitely connected in some way to the show where Brodie is working, they realize the murderer may be someone they know. Graham’s story offers nonstop action and excitement from start to finish. Rhiannon and Brodie have real sexual chemistry, the murder plot is nicely written and not at all predictable and a cast of quirky characters adds an additional layer of depth.
