New friends and valiant champions Zoe McCourt, Mallory Price and Dana Steele have accomplished two thirds of their magical quest. To free the souls of the imprisoned daughters of glass, they were assigned the task of finding three mystical keys that have been hidden for a millennium.

Mal and Dana have successfully found two of the three keys, and now it's Zoe's job to find the remaining one. But the evil sorcerer Kane is determined to stop the release of the daughters, and his methods are growing more dangerous and deadly at every turn.

Zoe's biggest fear is that her young son, Simon, will be targeted by Kane, although magical beings Rowena and Pitt swear to protect Simon. Wealthy businessman Brad Vane also swears to look after Simon and Zoe. Brad has been smitten with Zoe from the first but is having a very difficult time convincing her of his affections.

Using her patented flair, Nora Roberts wraps up her outstanding, magical Key trilogy in dazzling fashion. For consistent quality and emotional punch, no one beats her. (Jan., 352 pp., $7.99)

Key of Valor

Submitted by Robin in PA on May 28, 2011 - 10:48pm.

Three women have been summoned by Gods to find three keys that together will break an evil spell.  Two keys have been found.  Now it is Zoe McCourt's turn to find her key.  But with the opening of a new business, taking care of her son, and being courted by Bradley C. Vane IV, the sexy heir to a home improvement empire, Zoe doesn't know where to start her search.

I was a little bored with the search for the key.  If felt like the other two books in the series with the evil sorcerer up to the same tricks.  But, I did enjoy the romance in this book, along with the scenes between Brad and Zoe's son, Simon.  My rating:  4 Stars.
