Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Anthology, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Fans of many of today’s top urban fantasy series will be overjoyed with this anthology, which features some of the most well-known, kick-ass heroines — along with some pretty fabulous footwear. All of the contributing authors bring their A-Games to these stories, adding fresh elements to their worlds and introducing new characters into the spotlight to spice up their series. Devotees will find untold pleasures in these tales, and new readers will have no trouble getting involved in these phenomenally imaginative and scintillating worlds, and the wealth of smart, sassy characters.

From some of the best-known names in urban fantasy comes an anthology that highlights the best and bravest heroines the genre has to offer. Highlights of this brilliant anthology include: Chloe Neill’s Cadogen vampire guards Lindsey and Luc in a century-long battle for revenge, Kalayna Price’s clever and supremely well-armed additions to her Alex Craft series, Rob Thurman’s tale featuring a character from her Trickster series as she deals with some genuinely magical footwear and Rachel Caine’s modern-day potion witches Holly and Andrew as they take on a politician whose boots are made for more than walking.
