Miller’s third Kiki Strike adventure is a doozy. Her Irregulars bring the fun in the face of chaos, as each struggles with her own personal ordeal. Betty and Kiki are in Paris, while the rest are in Manhattan dealing with everything from a long-lost twin sister to boy trouble to an assault. Readers will love catching up with the girls and will eagerly await more adventures.

Kiki Strike is on her way to Pokrovia to renounce her claim on the throne and make the country a true democracy. She leaves Ananka in charge of the Irregulars and promises to be back in a few days. But Kiki is kidnapped by her aunt and cousin on her layover in Paris, and now it is up to the Irregulars to get her back alive and solve a decades-old mystery along the way.
