Gwen Frost is a Gypsy, gifted with the unusual power of psycho-metry. Mix that in with going to a new school where you don’t really fit in to begin with, and life becomes a bit complicated. Gwen may have just made some new friends but her crush, the beautiful Logan Quinn, is still not giving her the time of day. With all this teenage drama going on, how could things possibly get any worse? Well, for starters Gwen’s being chased by Reapers and werewolves. Gwen’s life is complicated with juggling school, weapon training and trying to understand boys; but things are not going to get easier anytime soon, especially with death looming right around the corner. Gwen may have some unusual powers, but will she be able to conquer them and become the warrior everyone thinks of her as? (KTEEN, Dec., 337 pg., $9.95, ISBN: 9780758266941, PB, 12 & Up)
