Evans' first in her Disgraced Lords series will appeal to readers of all genres. This book is the perfect blend of romance, history and mystery, and many will agree it's suspenseful at times, too. The love story alone is passionate and swoon worthy, while Evans' characters have a strong voice. Our hero, Christian is a broken soul and is the perfect accompaniment to extremely courageous, Sarah. This tale is poignant, heartwarming and readers may be reaching for the Kleenex once or twice before the breathtaking ending.
