Now that they are the official alpha werewolf pair of Denver, new pack alpha Kitty Norville and Ben O'Farrell decide to make it legal by getting married. Kitty's bosses want to film a live TV version of her radio show from Vegas, and Kitty agrees, since they'll pick up the tab for
the wedding trip. But neither Kitty nor Ben anticipates that the hotel will be hosting
a gun show filled with werewolf-hating bounty hunters. In a town known for the strange, Kitty quickly discovers not only a magician who might be using real magic but also a wild animal act that's not what it appears. Then Ben vanishes right before the wedding. (GRAND CENTRAL, Feb., 320 pp., $6.99)
