KNIGHT IN BLUE JEANS (3) by Evelyn Vaughn: When Smith Donnell defects from the secret society "Comitatus" that his family has been part of for generations, he has no idea of the long-term effects it will have on his personal and professional life. Losing his business is hard, but giving up the love of his life, Arden Leigh, hurts the most. Over a year later, Arden is on the verge of outing the society, which prompts the leadership to do anything to stop her, but there's no way Smith is going to let anything happen to Arden. Vaughn has created a tantalizing pair for the first story of the Blade Keepers series, especially the charming, fun and sexy hero. And that's what keeps things afloat. The secret society and its mostly unlikable characters bring no magic to this story.
