Lucas Denning, the new Marquis of Deene, is almost like a brother to Eve and has his own reasons for remaining unwed. They strike a deal, agreeing to be each other’s decoy. Unfortunately, they are caught in an extremely compromising position and what follows is marriage. Eve slowly reclaims her inner strength and spirit because of Deene’s kindness, as their love and trust frees them from their past demons. (SOURCEBOOKS, Feb., 416 pp., $7.99)
