RT Rating

This is a quick read and a delightful short romance. The time-travel aspect is well done, and the characters are nicely fleshed out. The ending brings everything to a comfortable and relatively believable conclusion.

While on holiday at the famous resort Thornbell Manor, Caroline Blake Newland is drawn through a wormhole that takes her to 1817. There she meets a man who strongly resembles her late husband. They even share the same name.

At first Richard Newland is sure Caroline is a Bedlamite, but it doesn't take all that long for her to convince him that she really is from the future. Though Caroline continues to search for a way back home, she also realizes that she and Richard have much in common, including a love of astronomy. When Caroline finds the way back home
it takes an act of treachery to send her there, where she longs for Richard. (WILDROSEPRESS.COM, dl $3.50)
